Mastercard recently released its Future of Rugby report that highlighted the areas within the game that can help shape its future, with a Future XV squad made up of people from across the globe making rugby more inclusive for people from all backgrounds and locations. Future XV members from Ireland include former professional and Irish international rugby player Sene Naoupu, and president of Ireland’s first LGBT+ Inclusive rugby club, Richard Fagan. 

The trailblazers provided a training session for local children at Trinity College ahead of Ireland’s next match against Tonga in the Rugby World Cup to demonstrate the joys of the sport in the hope of driving further participation.
